Easter is a long weekend holiday. It therefore enables us to spend time with family and friends.
But, above all, make sure that you don’t neglect spending time with Jesus. After all, without Jesus, Easter is meaningless. It’s important to spend time with Him everyday but we must not forget to acknowledge the importance of Easter and how it recognizes what Jesus did for us.
Jesus was crucified on a Roman cross. But that’s not the end of the story! On the third day after His death, He arose from the grave and left an empty tomb. He died for all of us. Every one of our sins were washed away by his death on the cross. By His death we are set free. All that he asks is that the we accept him into our hearts and lives. God wants a relationship with you. He wants it so bad that, “he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." -John 3:16
Easter is the perfect time to reflect on your relationship with Jesus. It’s an opportunity to dwell on what he did for you and ask God to give you opportunities to serve him.
He died, he rose, and he lives. There is life in Jesus Christ.
Have a good Easter!
